Plot of Venkatadri Express  :

 

Ram Murthy (Nagineedu) a retired head master,is a strict father. He enforces a strict code of conduct in his house,his family members are allowed only 100 mistakes after which they will be thrown out of the house for life. Sundeep (Sundeep Kishan) is the younger son and is a helpful guy. He always gets into trouble whenever he helps someone.Having used his 99 mistakes, Sundeep is doorstep away from being thrown out  from the family. As this is on, Nagineedu family boards Venkatadri express for the wedding of Sundeep’s elder brother Brahmaji (Brahmaji) in Tirupathi. Sundeep unexpectedly gets into a minor confrontation and misses the train. Hitting his 100th mistake Sundeep tries to catch out the train afraid of being banished from the family.In this process he meets Prarthana (Rakul Preet). How do Sundeep manages to reach his family and what happens next during the journey is all about Venkatadri Express

 

Performances  :

Sundeep kishan delivers a decent performace,but need to work on his expressions.He has shown improvement in percepts of comedy timing. Nagineedu is perfectly into the character and did justice to his role.Newcomer Rakul Preet is pretty and impressive. Brahmaji brings the laughter briefly. Thaguboth Ramesh and Sapthagiri have excelled with perfect comedy timing and Entertained well.

 

Technical Aspects  : 

Debutant Merlapaka Gandhi should be credited for turning a simple story to interesting one.Except few hiccups in the middle he has done a decent job. Chota K Naidu turned out as an asset with eye catchy cinematography. Ramana Gogula is back with pleasant tunes and impressive. Editing and Screenplay are good.
