The Telugu Film Industry has become synonymous with high budget films. A regional market that has the capability to produce films with such heavy budgets is a force to reckon with. Currently TFI is awaiting three very high budget movies.

 

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘LEGEND‘ is being produced with an extremely high budget and great production value. ‘LEGEND’ directed by Boyapati Seenu has a lot of hope riding on it. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘1-Nenokkadine‘, is reportedly being filmed with a budget of 60-70 crores. Mahesh’s ’1′ is probably the most anticipated film of 2014.

 

Ace director SS Rajamouli’s Magnum opus, Bahubali, takes the cake in the top budget lists with a whopping budget of 70+ crores. The trilingual film features Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana in the lead roles. Bahubali might see a release by July 2015. These big budget films are giving a new ray of hope to the industry. Even if any of these films makes a single rupee of profit they would have managed to wring a record collection out of the current industry.
