‘Biryani’ Starring Karthi and Hansika in the lead roles is all set for a grand release on 20th December. The movie will be releasing on the same day in both Telugu and Tamil Versions. Karthi has pinned all his hopes on this film,as his last cople of  films had a poor Boxoffice reports. Hansika is now being considered as lucky charm in Kollywood with Back to Back hits.

Touted to be a comedy entertainer,the film took shape in the hands of Venkat Prabhu. Premji Amaran and Mandy Takhar are essaying other prominent roles.Yuvan Shankar raja has provided the musical scores and is produced by K E Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green Banner.

Plot :

Karthi, who tasted hat-trick success in the starting of his career with innovative characters and concept oriented movies is now struggling to taste success with commercial formula movies.  Shakuni, Alex Pandian turned as dud at box-office. So, he trusted comedy director M.Rajesh for his latest movie All in all Azhagu Raja. Let us jump into the review of the movie.

Story of Azhagu Raja :

Raja (Karthi) and Kalyanam(Santhaanam) are close buddies who runs a TV Channel. Raja loves Chitra (Kajal) a stubborn girl  from his rival family who manages her father business besides her dream of turning into a big artist. How Raja won the heart of Chitra is the story of this movie.

Analyzing Azhagu Raja :

Director M.Rajesh thought that his comedy always helps him in scoring the success. Catching the commercial points and comedy scenes which entertain audience will not work all the time. The story should be strong enough to justify such huge comedy tracks.  He thought his combination with Santhaanam will workout again with huge success. But Karthi already had two flops with Santhanam which justified the sentiment this time too.

Thaman music is just average. Though he came up with same repeated tuned and loud music, Yen Chellam song is good to ears.  Over all pure screen-play and insufficient narration spoiled the movie.

Actress Progress Report :

• Karthi is good all the way. He devoloped in some corners of acting and portrayed the role with an ease .

• Kajal is very dull and poor looking in some out fits and good in some costumes. She is loosing her charm on screen. Better she should take care of it .

• SanthaanamS is back-bone of this flick with his rib tickling dialogues and comic- timing .

• Rest of the roles were properly utilized too.

Conclusion :

Azhagu Raja is a routine comedy flick with wafer thin story. Nothing new to find it in theaters.

Verdict:  Better keep away this patience tester.

Karthi‘s upcoming movie All in All Azhagu Raja is getting ready to hit screens for this Diwali. The latest making song of Unna Paartha Neram song is released today. The 1980′s visualization of this song is definitely a jaw dropper. Thaman had given the music at his best.

 

The song appears in flashback when Karthi’s father Prabhu narrates his love story. Karthi will be playing young Prabhu’s role and Santhaanam is playing dual role as son and father. No doubt, the trailer itself proves the movie is thoroughly entertaining .

None of these talented music directors are novices when it comes to singing, but getting them to sing on the same album is a Herculean feat.
