Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Attharintiki Daaredhi’ has proven the stamina of Telugu cinema. The film had a shower of collections right from the outset. Tarak’s Ramayya Vastavayya was supposed to give a stiff competition to AD, but that did not go down well. The next contender for AD’s top spot, is Mahesh‘s ‘1-Nenokkadine‘.

“1-Nenokkadine”, being helmed by Sukumar for Mahesh under the 14 reels entertainment banner is being tipped as a groundbreaking film which will take Telugu cinema in a new direction. The action sequences that have been shot have reportedly been done so with Hollywood parameters. Coming to the commercial aspect, Mahesh’s ’1′, is going to be released in a lot more theaters than usual. Taking into account Mahesh’s large overseas market potential, “1-Nenokkadine” is reportedly releasing in over 200 screens overseas. This is a record for Telugu films. This strategy will allow “1″ to comfortably scoop up nearly 40-cr on the opening day itself.  The movies audio is all set to be released on December 10th.

NTR‘s Ramayya Vastavayya managed to heap disappointment on the fans and movie crew alike. The disappointment just hasn’t ended yet. Ramayya Vastavayya managed to ruin NTR’s shot at a record.

NTR previously had 10 consecutive films run for 50 days in Vizag. Right from Ashok to Badshah, Tarak’s films have always gone 50 days in Vizag. This is a feat that is only bettered by Megastar Chiranjeevi, who had 14 consecutive films that went for a 50 day run in Vizag. NTR’s golden chance to topple Chiru’s longstanding record is gone for now. Vizag NTR fans are reportedly deeply disturbed by this.

Tarak on the other hand has put all this behind him and is currently busily engrossed in his next project Joru. Tipped as a summer 2014 release, Tarak will hope to turn the tables this time around.

Kamal and lip-locks are a very well known combination down here in South India. He was the one who never worried about any censorship and planted kisses left and right. This habit of lip-locks was apparently a lot more beneficial to Kamal than most people realize.

Kamal recently revealed in an interview that he got into the smoking habit at the very early age of 11. After many years of concerted effort was he finally able to kick the habit. Kamal reveals that the main motivation for him quitting smoking were the kissing scenes. He realized the discomfort of his co-actors when they did the scenes after he had smoked. It was either the Cigarettes or the Lip-locks. Naturally, the cigarettes had to go. Kamal also advices the youth to quit the smoking habit at least for the sake of their girlfriends and wives.
