Story :

The story’s backdrop is that of fiery Palnadu, where egos and revenge are a lot more important to people than life itself. The whole area is ruled by the mobster, Katam Ravi.

 

Shiva Kumar (Vishal) and Seshu (Vikrant), are two average youngsters who run a small business in their town. Shiva is normally a coward who has to rely on Seshu to get him out of trouble. However, the murder of an Engineer named Nagaraju suddenly complicates everybody’s life. Shiva finds himself in a kill or be killed situation. To find out the circumstances that lead to this situation, you have to watch the movie.

 

Positives  :

 

•  Vishal, always the massy action hero in his previous flicks, has a very fresh character this time. His portrayal of the fearful Shiva is utmost sincere  .

• Lakshmi Menon showed that she has some skill .

• Veteran actor Bharathi Raja, was a huge bonus for this story.

Negatives  :

 

• Very poor screenplay. The story is dragged out too much and the plot twists are very predictable  .

•  The songs are oddly timed and really mess with the flow of the story .

• Telugu audience will not be able to connect with the seriousness of the story.

• The masala element is missing in the movie  .

 

Conclusion :

The film does have it’s moments. Vishal’s comeback performance is definitely commendable. The poor handling of the story is the main culprit. The movie is completely for Tamil audience.

 

Verdict : Go watch it if you love action dramas and dubbing movies.
