Director Bapu passed away :

Legendary Telugu film director Bapu garu passed away today at a hospital in chennai .He left his last breath at the age of 80.He was born in narasapur, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India to Sattiraju Venugopala Rao and Surya Kantham on 15 December, 1933.His original name is Satthiraju Lakshmi Narayana .

Muthyala Muggu , Mr.Pellam & Sri Rama Rajyam are some of the epics from the hands of Bapu .He received National awards for the films Mr.Pellam & Muthyala Muggu. Central government honoured this veteran director with Padmasri in 2013. He also received 6 nandi awards from the government of AP , two film fare best director awards & film fare south life time achievement awards for the year 2012 .

In 1996, He has appeared in the Doordarshan Documentary Eminent Cartoonists of India. He is a artist, painter, illustrator, cartoonist, and designer.His last film was Sri Rama Rajyam with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the year 2011.

It is really a great loss to Tollywood , telugu film industry has lost another great personality .
