Performances :
Karthi essayed a role of play boy in the film.He has shown upswing in his performace and comedy timing. Karthi crooned a song for the first time in this film and is an added attraction. Premji Amaran is effective at times . Hansika has nothing much to do in the film and she looks pretty after getting down over 18 Kgs in her weight.Nazar and Sampath Raj are ok.
Technical aspects :
Cinematography by Sakthi Sarvan is excellent and has captured the color tones with expertise. Editing by Praveen KL and Srikanth NB could be even better. Venkat Prabhu has done a fair job,by coming up with a piquant story with the mix of comedy and action elements. Yuvan Shankar Raja marks his 100th Musical with this film and his Back ground Music is effective but songs add nothing to the film.Production values of Studio Green are lavish. Dubbing for Hansika’s role looks pale.
Plus Points :
Premji’s Comedy
Karthi’s Perfomance
Direction
Minus Points :
Songs
First Half
Excessive Tamil Flavour
Verdict :
Biryani is not properly cooked. One can a watch for Premji’s Comedy sequences and those who love the films that carry suspense till the end.
