Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan starrer Gopala Gopala, Telugu remake of Hindi blockbuster OMG: Oh My God went on floors here Monday. Along with the film’s lead actors Venkatesh, Pawan Kalyan and Shriya Saran, other who were present at the venue are Ramanaidu, Suresh Babu, Venkatesh’s son Arjun, Allu Aravind.

“The film was officially launched today. A few scenes are also expected to be shot today featuring the lead actors,” a member from the film’s unit told.

While Venkatesh will step in the shoes of Paresh Rawal from the original, Pawan Kalyan will reprise the role lord Krishna, originally played by Akshay Kumar. Actress Shriya Saran will be seen playing Venkatesh’s wife.

Gopala Gopala is being jointly produced by Suresh Production and Sharath Marar. Dolly (Kishore) will direct it.
