Thespian Akkineni Nagaeswara Rao breathed his last in the wee hours at around 2 am on wednesday. 91 Year old ANR is battleing Intestine cancer for the past 3 months. ANR was born on Spetember 24th’ 1924 in Venkataraghava Puram of Krishna District. Dharma patini was his debutant film and Manam is his last.

Devadasu, Mayabazar, Dasara Bullodu, Meghasndesam, Premnagar, Seetharamaiah Gari Manavaralui’  Nava Ratri, Vipranarayana, Kaleji Bullodu, Ramakrishnulu, Mayabazar and Tenali Ramakrishna are some of his hits. ANR’s  ANTHIMA YATHRA starts at 12 pm from film chamber to checkpost to ANNAPURNA STUDIOS. 3.30pm. Creamation will be done in Annapoorna Studios.
