Bhai – Off the screen  :

With the series of flops, Akkineni Nagarjuna turned producer and joined hands with Veerabhadram Chowdary for action entertainer Bhai. Richa Gangopadhyay is the heroine. Devi Sri Prasad songs which were released recently got mixed response from music lovers. As it was common for us every time, the movie unit made the publicity towards the movie that Bhai will be another Hello Brother of Nagarjuna’s career. Let us have a bird view of the movie .

 

Bhai- On the screen :

Bhai (Nagarjuna) is a mafia don who enters Hyderabad from Hongkong to kill under cover cop (Prasanna- Actress Sneha husband). James( Ajay) and Tony (SonuSood), the sons of David (Ashish Vidhyardhi) hates Bhai as their father assigns every task to Bhai. During the mission of killing the cop, Bhai comes to know that the cop is his own brother. He turns into wedding planner and joins the family for his sister marriage and eliminates the baddies who are trying to kill is brother .

 

Analysis :

As we are suffering with lack of new stories these days, Bhai adds some more pain standing as the fruit salad movie with the mixture of Ghatikudu and Baadshah.  I wonder why such a star hero like Nagarjuna carrying utmost stardom trust these comedy directors who can’t carry his grace in movie. Moreover they tries to highlight him in every scene, lauding his glamour and boasting about the hero. Better they should stop these and try to concentrate on the story. Bhai, movie completely failed in all aspects in entertaining audience .

 

Few scenes in first half  were acceptable with little laughs but second half goes with ultimate torture. Songs were boring and comedy was just fine in few scenes. Dialogues are just crap. They are used for just rhyming rather than meaning. “Nee donga edupulu nuvu theepinchina kadupulu naku telusu”- These kind of dialogues are completely a patient testers .

 

Artists Progress Report :

 

* The only sigh of happiness is Nagarjuna’s looks in the movie. His dresses and shades were simply superb. It would be better if he chooses dance sequences based on his body language .

 

* Rich tried her level best to irritate us. She justified Nagarjuna’s dialogue in the movie “Nuvvu navvinaa edchinaa moham oke laaga undhi”. She is the bad choice for this flick .

 

* Brahmi is completely wasted. Slapping on one’s face aggressively will not workout in comedy all the time. He got very poor role .

 

* Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao is breif but good. Prasanna is limited with short role. Sonu Sood, Ajay, Kamna Jetmalani are completely misused .

Final Verdict :

 

Nagarjuna disappointed again. Bhai failed to entertain mass audience and class audience too.
