Akkineni’s much awaited multistarrer “Manam” is currently in the final stages of its shooting. Nagarjuna said that,” My father played a 90-year old in the film and completed his part along with Dubbing, except a song that is left behind. He said, Bring all the dubbing equipment and do my dubbing for Manam before I get worse, or you will get a mimicry artiste to do my dubbing. He made sure that he has completed the film”.I want his last film Manam to be a befitting send-off to a man who was much more than just a father to me,Nagarjuna added.

Manam starring ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaithanya is scheduled for release on March 31st. Gemini TV has reportedly bagged the Satellite rights of the film for a mammoth Price of 8 Crores.Akhil Akkineni will be seen in a cameo role in the film and Shriya Saran and Samantha are the leading ladies. “Ishq” fame Vikram kumar is the director and Akkineni Nagarujuna is producing this film under Annapoorna Studios.
