As the trade analysts and cine pundits goes on making the calculations over market criteria over the business made by Telugu movies, here are some interesting facts revealed by them. The TFI is likely to face 600 crore loss this year till now. The first half season of this year faced nearly 400 crore loss in movies due to series of disaster flick released by big heroes. Worst subjects, lack of content, state agitations and some other reasons made this loss .

 

 

Disaster losses of this year :

 

Its very sad for us to note that the disaster flicks were likely from top heroes of our telugu cinema. Firstly, Thoofan is emerged as the disaster of this year followed by Bhai and Shadow. Greekuveerudu, Ramayya Vasthavayya and Jabardasth are few more movies which failed in collecting the minimum budget of the movie.  Ongole Gittha, Gouravam, Gundello Godaari are few more disasters at Box-office .

 

 

Minimum profit movies :

 

Some movies of star heroes which affected with budget over flow due to the failure of control of director, were on safe side as the star cast helped the movie to collect the huge some amounts that filled the loss spaces and put the producer on safe side.  Among them Nayak, SVSC,  Baadshah, Tadakha brought few profits to their producers and distributors with their area wise collections.

 

 

Blockbuster hits and huge profit movies :

 

Starting with Mirchi, this year had some blockbusters with small ticket movies and couple of big ticket movies too.  Only Prabhas and PawanKalyan rocket with their movies at box-office and extracted as many as collections from the audience. But, the biggest blockbuster of this year is Prema Katha Chithram which brought 400% profit to its producer followed by Swamy Rara with 350% and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe .

 

 

Analysis :

 

*   The problem in the industry is most of the movies stories are based on some successful movies which were released earlier. 2013 hit movies are not exception too.

 

*  Same format and same formula with 6 songs and 4 fights turned main stream which created a boredom to audience. Swamy Rara, PKC are exception as they surpassed this formula and tasted success.

 

*  The total investment on Telugu movie making this year till date touched 1000 crore.

 

*  There are more than 50 movies which were made around 1 crore turned as big duds with lack of publicity.

 

With out its release Yevadu, had undergone enough damage financially with severe postponements. Only the result of the movie can finalize the fate of producer and the final calculation of the loss emerged can come to some conclusion .
