South India’s top hero Ilayathalapathy Vijay celebrates 21 years of Mass hero image and stardom in Tamil cinema, who stood as heart throb to his fans with his action and romantic movies.
Debuted as a child actor, Vijay gave an appreciable performance in six films during his childhood and started his career as hero on screen romantic entertainer Naalaiya Theerpu during 1992 and so far entertained Tamil cinema lovers with 56 films.
He is enjoying equal stardom in Kollywood with top stars like Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Ajith despite of getting flops, as the star has always made sure he gives a strong comeback. His latest flick Thuppaki stood as the blokbuster and stood in the third place after Kamal and Rajini movies.
Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Thirupaachi, Vettaikaaran, Velayudham, Kaavalan, Pokkiri, Thuppakki and Thalaiva are few far-famed films of Vijay. Meanwhile, Vijay is busy with Neson directing Jilla starring Mohanlal under RB Chowdhary’s Supergood Films banner. Vijay’s Jilla is gearing up for release on January 10 and this multi-starrer is expected to join Vijay’s illustrious films.
